What is MAT? 

MAT is short for Medication Assisted Treatment. Clinical data has verified that MAT is the most effective treatment to manage your addiction.

 

You are NOT trading one addiction for another. There is a big difference between substance abuse disorder versus medication assisted treatment (MAT).  MAT uses FDA-approved medication for addiction.  This medication blocks the euphoric effects of drugs while helping to reduce cravings. In time, brain chemistry will be normalized. Throughout the gradual process, your MAT dosage can safely be reduced under the guidance and monitoring of your doctor, Dr. Mitchell, with the goal of full recovery.
